The Jhagadia Float Glass manufacturing unit of Saint-Gobain India Pvt Ltd – Glass Business is one of the strategic investments of Saint-Gobain in western India with the acquisition of erstwhile Ms. Sejal Architectural Glass in the year 2011. Located at Central Gujarat in Jhagadia of Bharuch District, the state-of-the-art float glass plant is spread over an area of 150 acres with its capacity to produce 550 MT of clear glass per day having the accolade of producing clear glass with less than 650 ppm of Iron setting a high quality benchmark standard within India and globally. Saint-Gobain Jhagadia also takes the pride by setting this benchmark for its TVC campaign of Clear Glass of 654 PPM. The campus also has uniquely positioned in house Sand Beneficiation plant with a capacity to produce 600 tons of treated sand/per day. Saint-Gobain has further made a strategic investment on value added products viz Shower Cubicles business in Jhagadia to cater to Home and Hospitality business segments of Saint-Gobain. Accolades for Jhagadia : -Organization Significant achievement in HR Excellence award from CII in the year 2017, 2018 & 2019 -WCM Silver Award in 2020 – 3rd Glass Plant worldwide and 3rd SG Plant in India region -Emerald Award for CO2 reduction – Saint-Gobain Global recognition -An HPR (Highly Protected Risk) certification from Xcel Catlin. -Innovation as culture – collaborating minds for Industry 4.0 projects Key Role Responsibilities: experience in Finished Good- Particularly Warehouse and Dispatch which comes at the end of the Manufacturing Process Responsible for receipt from Float Responsible for Safety & 5S in warehouse Bays Manage storage & Serviceability in the warehouse bays Responsible for traceability and retrievability of material Responsible for bay audits and reporting Responsible for Inventory Management Knowledge of Forklift operations and EOT Knowledge on optimization of space, consumables Knowledge on inventory management Knowledge about warehouse activity Knowledge about Cycle Audit Knowledge about Material Storing Knowledge about making inward and invoice Knowledge in Location accuracies Knowledge about Loading activity Internal/External Customer interaction Task orientationMan power management Emergency handling & Crisis management Problem Solving attitude Planning skills Required Qualifications:- Diploma - Engineering (Any stream) with Good Academic record 2-4 years The candidate must be willing to relocate to Bharuch/Ankleshwar.
