As a Vertical Packaging Machine Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems in packing machines. Your role will involve diagnosing faults in PLCs, HMIs, sensors, drives, and control panels to minimize equipment downtime and ensure prompt responses to breakdowns. Additionally, you will assist in the installation and setup of new packaging equipment, calibrate and program machine components, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce energy consumption. Collaboration with mechanical engineers and production teams will be essential to modify existing systems for increased productivity. You will also be involved in programming and modifying PLCs, maintaining and troubleshooting VFDs, Servo motors, Encoders, and identifying critical electrical spares for packing machines.
