Job Description

As a Team Manager at the company, you will be leading a multidisciplinary Engineering team with a strong Mechanical/Electrical background, ideally from the Manufacturing industry. Your role will involve driving operational excellence, project management, and innovative solutions to ensure the team's success. Here's how you'll make an impact: - Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. - Provide technical guidance and support to team members, reviewing deliverables and offering constructive feedback. - Plan and allocate resources efficiently to support global and local business needs, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and quality standards. - Oversee project tracking systems, risk assessments, and mitigation planning. - Drive and monitor key performance indicators such as First Pass Yield (FPY), On-Time Delivery (OTD), Utilization, and Efficiency. - Collaborate with global stakeholders, customers, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure customer satisfaction. - Develop and execute strategies for team growth and long-term capability building. - Identify skill gaps and implement strategies for competency development. - Drive recruitment and onboarding of new team members to support business expansion. - Establish and manage relationships with vendors and third parties for timely delivery. Your background should include: - Bachelor's/Master's degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline. - Minimum 10+ years of experience in roles, ideally in a global or multi-location environment. - Experience in the transformer/Electrical industry is advantageous. - Strong analytical, organizational, and risk management skills. - Excellent communication, leadership, and team-building abilities. - Proficiency in CAD tools, automation workflows, and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems. Additionally, you should have a proactive approach to growth, strategic thinking, and the ability to troubleshoot CAD-related issues. Proficiency in English and/or German language is required. Your responsibilities will also include ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines.,
