Job Description

As a Team Leader in the MID-Operations-Fund Expense team at Morningstar India Private Ltd., your role involves managing and developing a team of 10+ Data Research Analysts. You will provide clear direction, establish SMART goals, and optimize resource allocation for processes/projects. Your responsibilities will also include working closely with global teams, identifying and eliminating roadblocks, conducting research on complex projects, and promoting LEAN Six Sigma tools and methodologies for process improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in managing and developing a team of 10+ Data Research Analysts - Work closely with global teams and across various functions - Identify and eliminate roadblocks by partnering with technology and database teams - Research complex projects leading to actionable recommendations - Promote LEAN Six Sigma tools and methodologies for process improvement - Ensure highest quality standards in data collected by the team - Track, measure, and report on daily, monthly, and quarterly metrics - Provide coaching, training, and motivation to team members - Conduct performance reviews and set career development paths for team members - Monitor staffing requirements and ensure minimum staffing levels are met/exceeded - Communicate changes, issues, and recommendations to stakeholders - Accept/reject leave requests and arrange job shifts based on staffing requirements - Provide floor support, monitor production, and quality for all Data Research Analysts - Drive engagement levels of the staff to achieve business results Qualifications Required: - Bachelor/Masters degree in finance/business with an exceptional academic record - Professional degree (CA, CA-Inter, ICWA, ICWA-Inter) preferred - 5+ years of professional work experience at various seniority levels - Strong people and project management skills - Effective communication skills with local and international teams - Proven experience in optimizing processes - Willingness to work in a high-performance culture and take calls early or late nights as needed - Prior experience leading teams of 10+ people will be an advantage - Demonstrated ability to develop talent,
