Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Retail Supervisor to manage the daily operations of our retail outlet. This role involves supervising a team of 20-30 members, driving store performance, managing shifts efficiently, and ensuring operational excellence in a high-paced retail environment.

Role & responsibilities

  • Monitor the performance of retail operations and make recommendations for improvement
  • To achieve assigned targets for the Retail Stores in a sustained manner
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
  • Ensure availability of Retail Merchandise for customers without shortfall in all counters across the park.
  • Organize all store operations and allocate responsibilities to personnel for achieving target
  • Motivate and guide staff to maximize sales during their shifts focusing on upselling and cross-selling techniques to improve SPH.
  • Set and track sales goals and ensure that they are met.
  • Monitor the performance of our retail operations and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide store performance reports, customer feedback, and operational insights to Reporting Manager
  • Supervise and guide staff towards maximum performance
  • Inspect the areas in the store and resolve any issues that might arise
  • Plan and oversee in-store promotional events or displays
  • Keep abreast of market trends to determine the need for improvements in the store
  • Experience with promotional setup, visual merchandising, and adherence to brand standards
  • Proven working experience in retail sales

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years hands-on floor management experience in large format retail
  • Proficiency in retail software, POS systems, and inventory management.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
  • Experience with promotional setup, visual merchandising, and adherence to brand standards
  • Flexibility to work various shifts.
  • Ability to create a positive and productive work environment.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving

    revenue generation and SPH targets

    in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Strong understanding of

    retail sales processes, consumer behaviour principles

    , and customer experience metrics such as

    NPS

    .
  • Knowledge of retail management best practices

Qualifications:

  • Graduate or Diploma in Hospitality, Retail, or Business Administration.
  • 2-3years of hands-on experience in retail operations, preferably in high-footfall areas like theme parks, airports, Retail shops or malls.
  • Strong Team Management Skill, people management, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency with POS systems, ERP and basic MS Office tools.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and peak-season hours.
  • Good verbal & written communication in Local Language & English.
