Company:- Adva Supply Chain Solutions LLPLocation:- ChennaiExperience Required:Minimum 4–6 years in the shipping or freight forwarding industry, with at least 1–2 years in a team leadership role.---Job Summary:Adva Supply Chain Solutions LLP is seeking a motivated and experienced Team Lead – Export & Import Documentation to manage and oversee our end-to-end export and import documentation processes. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with customs regulations and the smooth execution of daily operations. The ideal candidate must have solid experience in the shipping industry and a deep understanding of global trade documentation and customs requirements.---Key Responsibilities:* Supervise and lead the documentation team handling export and import operations.* Manage end-to-end documentation processes for sea, air, and multimodal shipments, including pre-shipment and post-shipment activities.* Ensure all documentation complies with Indian customs regulations foreign trade policies, and relevant international standards.* Coordinate closely with internal operations, freight forwarders, transporters, and customs brokers to ensure timely cargo clearance and delivery.* Resolve discrepancies or issues related to documentation to avoid delays and penalties.* Oversee preparation of shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and other relevant certificates.* Maintain accurate records of shipments and document flows for audits and compliance.* Train, guide, and motivate the documentation team to maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency.* Collaborate with senior management to streamline processes and implement best practices.---Key Requirements:Experience: Minimum 4–6 years in export/import documentation in the shipping or logistics industry; prior team leadership experience is preferred.Knowledge: Strong knowledge of customs regulations, INCOTERMS, shipping procedures, and trade compliance.Skills : Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills; ability to multitask and work under pressure. Strong communication skills to coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and external agencies.
