Team Lead (Accounts & Finance)

• Role Overview

The Team Lead will manage key finance functions including Accounts Receivable, budgeting, costing, banking coordination, compliance, and financial reporting for a mid-sized manufacturing company. The role requires strong analytical skills, SAP proficiency, and the ability to guide a small team.

• Key Responsibilities

1. Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Manage the full AR cycle—collections, receipt accounting, reconciliations.
• Handle customer ledger reconciliation, Credit/Debit Notes, and documentation in SAP.
• Coordinate foreign remittances, LC documents, export formalities, and ORM/IRM closure.
• Liaise with sales and customers to resolve AR and collection issues.

2. Budgeting & Cost Control

• Support monthly/annual budgeting and cost centre management.
• Ensure correct cost centre usage and perform Budget vs Actual analysis.
• Present findings and variance reports to management.

3. Product Costing

• Assist in estimated vs actual product cost analysis.
• Review material, labour, and overhead variances; suggest cost improvement actions.

4. Banking & Compliance

• Coordinate with banks on loans, renewals, limits, and required documentation.
• Submit stock statements, DP workings, and financial data on time.
• Ensure timely processing of EMIs, insurance, and audit support.

5. Process Improvement

• Support cash flow planning and improve collection/payable processes.
• Identify automation and efficiency opportunities in SAP/Excel.

• Skills & System Knowledge

• Proficiency in

  and advanced Excel.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead junior executives and ensure accuracy in financial operations.
