Job Description

Role Objective:

Experience:

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

Oversee end-to-end accounting processes as per ICAI standards and best practices.
Implement and monitor internal controls for financial integrity.
Manage monthly and annual book closure; prepare Balance Sheet & P&L.
Ensure accurate recording of income, expenses, assets, liabilities, and provisions.
Conduct periodic scrutiny of accounts and reconciliations (Sales–GST/26AS, Debtors, Creditors, Bank, Payroll).
Support statutory and tax audits, resolve audit queries.

2. GST Compliance

Prepare and file GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual returns (GSTR-9C).
Reconcile purchase data with GSTR-2A/2B and resolve mismatches.

3. TDS Compliance

Oversee TDS deductions on salaries, professional fees, rent, etc.
Ensure timely TDS deposits and filing of quarterly/annual returns.
Oversee payroll calculations, deductions, and compliance.

4. Banking & Treasury

Manage cash flow, bank transactions, and treasury operations.
Approve salary payouts and expense disbursements as per schedule.
Maintain necessary checks and balances on banking activities.

5. Team Leadership

Allocate and supervise team tasks; manage leave schedules.
Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to upgrade team skills.
Conduct quarterly and annual performance reviews.
