Job title: Project Engineer Work Location: Peenya, Bengaluru, Karnataka Division/Department: Projects Reports to: HOD of Projects Full-time Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform related duties as assigned by HOD / Management Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures Coordinate First Article, build plans to meet the customer requirement as per the print and deadline Tracking the budget during development and maintain the planned vs actual consumption in project management software Preparation of resource planning for every project and tracking it till the completion of the project Do the risk analysis and mitigation plan for every project and keep it recorded in project risk register Work with cross-functional team members (Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Marketing, Service, etc.) Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: B-tech or Diploma Mechanical engineer required Minimum 5-6 years experience required for Diploma candidates and 3-4 years for B-tech Candidates. Understanding of material and machining process used in CNC, VMC & HMC machines Knowledge of inspection instruments and selection of inspection methods based on 2D drawing and 3D profiles Understanding and knowledge of Bill of Material & preparation of it using ERP (SAP preferred) Good verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers (English compulsory) Good computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook) Must be able to work to meet the deadlines without any intervention of HOD / Management, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices Ready to travel to supplier and customer places based on the situation and circumstances Should have knowledge and experience on Process establishment, Line balancing, APQP and Capability studies Other Requirements: Should have a driving license for Motorbike / Motorcar Should hold valid Passport Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone Oriented towards improvement in process, quality along with cost reduction Better understanding of secondary processes and final finish operations like heat treatment, coatings etc.
