Role Summary:

The Sales & Application Engineer will be responsible for driving sales growth while providing technical application support for cutting tools used in CNC machining. The role includes customer interaction, tooling optimization, and coordination with internal engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Strong knowledge of cutting tools used in CNC machines for operations such as turning, milling, grooving, drilling, threading, and reaming.
Hands-on experience with tool management systems.
Expertise in grade selection of cutting tools for different workpiece materials.
Improve customer productivity by implementing advanced and optimized tooling solutions.
Provide tooling solutions and cost benefits by calculating optimal cost per component.
Troubleshoot and resolve metal cutting and machining issues.
Conduct product trials, introduce new tools, and address customer complaints.
Collaborate with Development teams to prove and validate new tools.
Work closely with
PED (Process Engineering Department)
and
NPD (New Product Development)
teams.
