Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a VMC (Vertical Machining Center) Operator, based in Chennai. The VMC Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating VMC machines, interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, performing routine maintenance on the machines, and ensuring the quality of the finished products by conducting thorough inspections. The operator will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving production issues as they arise.

Qualifications

Proficient in setting up and operating VMC machines
Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving production issues
Familiarity with performing routine maintenance on VMC machines
Experience in quality control and product inspections
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Relevant certification or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred
