Teacher/ Day Care Teacher

Job Title:

Job Purpose:

To provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children while promoting their physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Childcare & Supervision

• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the daycare.
  
• Supervise children during activities, playtime, meals, and nap times.
  

2. Educational Activities

• Plan and conduct age-appropriate learning activities that promote development in areas such as language, motor skills, social behavior, and creativity.
  
• Implement daily lesson plans according to the curriculum provided by the organization.
  

3. Emotional Support

• Build positive relationships with children, understanding their individual needs.
  
• Provide emotional support and guidance to children, encouraging positive behavior.
  

4. Communication with Parents

• Maintain regular communication with parents regarding their childs progress, activities, and any concerns.
  
• Provide feedback during parent meetings.
  

5. Health, Safety & Hygiene

• Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for children.
  
• Monitor childrens health and report any illness or injury immediately.
  

6. Record Keeping

• Maintain attendance records, daily activity reports, and any incident reports.
  
• Document observations of each child’s development.
  

7. Team Collaboration

• Work in coordination with other educators, daycare staff, and management to ensure smooth operations.
  
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
  

Qualification & Skills:

• Minimum qualification: Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Child Development, or related field.
  
• Prior experience in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education is preferred.
  
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Patient, caring, and passionate about working with children.
  
• Knowledge of health and safety guidelines in childcare.
