Job Description

Role Summary This role calls for someone grounded, quick to observe, and able to translate the life of a centre into clear and meaningful communication. You'll work closely with the Communications Lead, contributing to everything from on-ground content to internal campaigns. Your day may include documenting a workshop, supporting a centre event, or helping draft a weekly update. You'll be the voice on the ground-always in step with what's happening, and why it matters. Key Responsibilities - Draft notices, newsletters, and in-centre communication material alongside the Communications Lead - Document daily life at the centre through photos and short-form video content - Support communication and collateral needs for events, campaigns, and activities - Liaise with centre heads and academic staff to stay aligned with the weekly calendar and priorities - Maintain records and content logs for internal reference and reporting - Contribute observations and documentation for use in broader Ipsaa campaigns Desired qualification: - Strong writing skills with a clear and thoughtful tone - Confidence in using your phone camera to capture everyday interactions, activities, and events - Good sense of what details to notice and how to communicate them clearly - Comfortable managing timelines, coordinating with teams, and handling follow-ups independently - Prior experience in schools, agencies, or people-focused workplaces is helpful - Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic, collaborative setup
