Direct Tax:

• Recommend tax strategies that align with business goals of the organization.
• Recommend Tax planning measures across the group.
• Working with business functions to increase efficiency from tax perspective
• To keep updated about the amendments and pronouncements at various judiciary levels in Direct Tax law from time to time to all concerned and ensure the implementation of such amendments thereto for proper tax compliance.
• Ensuring minimum tax leakage and smooth closure of audit, assessment, investigation and enquiries from Income Tax departments.
• Ensuring all Direct tax compliance on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
• Advising tax clauses to be included in the agreement to protect the interest of the company.
• Develop processes to ensure correct data is reported to the relevant tax authorities on a timely basis

International Tax:

• To review the international tax transactions from Double taxation Avoidance agreements and FEMA regulations, Permanent establishment exposure
• To draft/ review the agreements which are in alignment of DTAA, PE etc.
• To work on Pillar II requirement of a multinational group company, which includes co-ordination with group companies, calculation and compliance guidance in the respective countries.
• Handling Transfer pricing matters
• Review of tax provisions of overseas group companies
• Handling of the international tax matters and providing reports to the management.

Direct Taxation, International Taxation, FEMA Regulations, Transfer Pricing, Litigations.

• Must be Qualified Chartered Accountant

• Work experience of at least 5 years with specialization in international taxation

• Excellent knowledge of tax accounting and international taxation regulation along with the knowledge of Country-by-country reporting, FEMA regulations, BEPS and Permanent establishment

• Analytical skill with detail orientation
