Target Costing & Negotiation- Plastic Part & Tooling cost

Development/Purchase & Costing Background with knowledge of Plastic Components & tooling.
Sound Knowledge of Automotive Systems will be an added Advantage. Automotive OEM / Component Manufacturer. Key responsibilities 1) Costing, quote analysis, making costing & negotiation strategies and negotiation with suppliers. 2) Teardown & functional analysis, cost estimation, part level benchmarking and techno-commercial comparison, analysis of technical parts like Bumpers, Instrument Panel, Guard Assy etc. vehicle parts. 3) Generation of innovative VA/VE cost proposal. 4) Must have know howe about the MHR of Plastic injection molding along with Plastic painting cost. Desirable 1) Techno commercial knowledge of Plastic components like Bumper, Instrument Panel, Box Floor console, Door trim, IP Child Parts, Painted parts etc. 2) Knowledge of different Automotive Plastic Raw material grades. 3) Knowledge of different Automotive Injection molding, Blow modling, Ultrasonic welding/Assembly etc. process. 4) Knowledge of Plastic Injection part with 2k molding parts. 5) Understanding of different Automotive Robot Ultrasonic technology along with cost estimation. 6) Plastic parts ZBC for parts and tooling know-how. 7) Understanding of different types of Assembly Fixtures & Poka Yoka for Automotive Plastic parts . 8) Knowledge of Automotive Spec parts like Door handles,Sunroof, fuel tank etc. 9) Should be self-initiator, team player and passionate about analysis and design intent. 10) Should be good in generation of cost/weight reduction & new technology ideas. Competencies:
Functional 1) Knowledge of manufacturing processes. 2) Understanding of Cycle times in above mentioned commodities 3) Problem Solving skills, Exposure to UG-NX 4) Analyze drawings of above-mentioned commodities. 5) Understanding of Broad level Business Processes Managerial 1) Plan and schedule activities in advance. 2) Ability to communicate with Peers/Vendors/Machine Makers etc. 3) Positive attitude with willingness to undertake new initiatives 4) Good Communication & Interpersonal Skills Any other specific job requirement:
