Job Description

A Tandoor Chef is responsible for preparing and cooking tandoori dishes, including naan bread, kebabs, and grilled meats, within a restaurant or kitchen setting. They maintain the tandoor oven's cleanliness and safety, ensuring consistent quality and presentation of dishes. They also assist with menu planning, ingredient management, and may supervise junior staff. Key Responsibilities of a Tandoor Chef: Preparation: Preparing ingredients, marinating meats, and preparing sauces and other components for tandoori dishes. Cooking: Using the tandoor oven to cook a variety of dishes, including naan bread, kebabs, tandoori chicken, and other tandoor-based items. Quality Control: Ensuring that all tandoori items are prepared according to recipes and company standards, maintaining consistent quality and taste. Cleanliness: Maintaining a clean and organized tandoor oven area, adhering to food safety and sanitation regulations. Inventory: Monitoring and maintaining inventory of tandoori ingredients and supplies. Supervision: May supervise and train assistant chefs or kitchen staff in tandoori cooking techniques. Menu Planning: Assisting with menu planning and cost control measures related to tandoori items. _ BENEFIT - PROVIDE FOOD AND ACCOMMODATION. _ Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹26,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month Benefits: Food provided Schedule: Rotational shift Supplemental Pay: Performance bonus Experience: Chef: 3 years (Required) Work Location: In person
