Tally Accountant

Sr. Accountant

Reports To: Accounts Manager / Finance Head

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Tally ERP 9 Operator to handle accurate accounting data entry and maintain financial records using Tally and Microsoft Excel. The candidate should have experience in basic bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and inventory recording.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter daily accounting transactions in Tally ERP 9 (sales, purchase, payments, receipts, journal entries)
• Maintain and update ledger accounts and inventory records
• Assist in preparing day books, cash books, and bank reconciliation statements
• Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets for internal reporting and record-keeping
• Verify and cross-check bills, vouchers, and supporting documents before entry
• Manage petty cash entries and related documentation
• Assist with preparing internal financial summaries and statements as required
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records
• Coordinate with other departments for accurate data entry and records

Qualifications:

• Minimum qualification: Mba/ Bachelor's degree in Commerce (preferred)
• 5 years of experience in Accounts
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (v-lookups, basic formulas, formatting, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of inventory or stock management in Tally
• Familiarity with basic accounting terms and principles
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
