Job Description

Key Responsibilities1. Daily Accounting & Operations (Tally Prime) Manage day-to-day accounting entries in Tally Prime (Sales, Purchase, Receipt, Payment, Contra, and Journal vouchers). Ensure accurate billing and invoicing to customers. Maintain the General Ledger and ensure all sub-ledgers are up to date. Handle Petty Cash management and expense tracking. 2. Banking & Reconciliation Perform Bank Reconciliation (BRS) on a [Daily/Weekly] basis to ensure books match bank statements. Coordinate with the bank for NEFT/RTGS transfers and resolve any transaction discrepancies. Monitor cash flow and fund management. 3. Accounts Receivable (Debtors) & Payable (Creditors) Maintain accurate records of Sundry Debtors and Sundry Creditors. Debtors: Generate aging reports, send payment reminders, and follow up for outstanding payments. Creditors: Verify vendor bills, schedule payments based on credit periods, and reconcile vendor ledgers. 4. GST & Taxation Compliance Prepare data for GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2A/2B reconciliation). Generate and manage E-Way Bills and E-Invoicing as required. Ensure all accounting practices comply with current GST laws and TDS regulations. 5. MIS Reports & Analysis Prepare and present MIS Reports (Management Information Systems) to the Director/Management. Create reports on Sales Analysis, Outstanding Payments, Expenses vs. Budget, and Profitability. Export data from Tally to Excel to create customized financial dashboards.
