Job Title: Talent Manager

Location:

Role Purpose

resource planning, bench management, demand-supply alignment, and workforce optimization

Key Responsibilities

  • Demand & Supply Management

    • Collaborate with delivery managers and business units to forecast talent requirements.
    • Align supply chain strategies to meet project staffing needs across geographies.
  • Resource Planning & Fulfillment

    • Build talent pools for niche and critical skills.
    • Support lateral hiring and internal mobility to fulfill urgent requirements.
  • Workforce Analytics

    • Track and report metrics such as utilization, attrition, and fulfillment ratios.
    • Provide insights for workforce planning and skill-gap analysis.
  • Stakeholder Engagement

    • Act as a liaison between delivery teams, HR, and recruitment for smooth onboarding.
    • Ensure compliance with internal policies and client requirements.
  • Process Excellence

    • Drive automation and process improvements in talent supply chain operations.
    • Support diversity and inclusion initiatives in resource deployment.

Qualifications

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Science or MBA in HR/Operations.
  • Experience:

    • 10+ years in resource management, workforce planning, or talent supply chain.
    • Experience in hiring for P&C Insurance domain with exposure to insurance platforms such as Duck Creek, Guidewire, or similar technologies is an added advantage.

  • Skills:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in Excel, workforce management tools, and reporting dashboards.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
    • Knowledge of PMO processes and global delivery models.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with Wipro’s Talent Engineering framework and global resourcing practices.
