Talent Acquisition Lead

Key Responsibilities

1. Workforce Planning & Forecasting

  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand production plans, manpower needs, and growth trajectories.
  • Lead the

    annual and quarterly workforce planning cycles

    and align hiring plans accordingly.
  • Drive

    augmentation as per approved budgets

    , ensuring optimum manpower availability to meet production/service delivery targets.
  • Monitor headcount and proactively manage gaps to reduce time-to-fill and avoid disruption.

2. Talent Acquisition Strategy

  • Design and implement a

    comprehensive talent acquisition strategy

    covering both permanent and seasonal workforce requirements.
  • Evaluate and optimize multiple sourcing channels including employee referrals, job boards, recruitment partners, and social hiring.
  • Build and maintain a strong

    talent pipeline

    for niche, volume, and leadership roles.
  • Execute diversity hiring and campus hiring strategies in line with organizational goals.

3. Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a trusted advisor to

    business heads, HRBPs, and senior leadership

    on all matters related to talent acquisition.
  • Conduct regular reviews with hiring managers to understand evolving requirements and provide data-driven hiring insights.
  • Ensure hiring decisions are aligned with organizational goals and delivered within SLAs.

4. Recruitment Operations & Technology

  • Drive adoption and optimization of the

    Applicant Tracking System (ATS)

    for streamlined hiring.
  • Develop and maintain an effective

    job requisition and approval workflow

    .
  • Standardize , drive consistency in

    job postings

    , and ensure alignment with employer branding.
  • Utilize dashboards and analytics to monitor recruitment metrics like TAT, quality of hire, cost per hire, and funnel ratios.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education:

    MBA in HR or equivalent postgraduate degree
  • Experience:

    8-12 years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition, with at least 3 years in a lead or managerial role
  • Proven expertise in

    workforce planning, talent strategy design, and execution

  • Hands-on experience with

    ATS tools (like SuccessFactors, Workday, Taleo, Zoho Recruit, etc.)

  • Strong stakeholder management, project planning, and negotiation skills
  • Data-savvy with the ability to derive insights from hiring metrics
  • Industry exposure to both volume and lateral hiring is a plus
