Position Overview :
- Boeing India Engineering has an immediate opening for Systems Service Engineering Manager to lead teams working in areas of Environmental Control, Flight Controls, Fuel Systems, Main engines and APU, Landing Gear, Mech Hydro, Payloads and Propulsion.
- This is a techno-managerial position that is expected to provide technical leadership and people leadership to the team. This position will also acquire talent and build the team further, motivate, develop and manage employees and provide technical oversight to achieve excellent technical and business outcomes.
- The ideal candidate will lead in-service issue resolution, customer service requests, support continued operational safety program, resolve service related problems & suspect discrepancy reports. The selected candidate will develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- The selected candidate should have experience of working in a fast-paced environment and prior experience of working and managing teams for the resolution of airline customers' in-service engineering issues. Prior experience and demonstrated ability to manage teams in aerospace domain. Skilled in advising and mentoring staff members to meet schedules or resolve technical or operational problems.
- This position will also be responsible for coordinating and communicating regularly with experts in Boeing organizations around the world. The candidate shall provide periodic update on project progress, quality metrics, project summaries, and other related documents. Contribute to productivity improvement through use of Quality Management System and lean principles.
- This position supports initiatives of Boeing India organization related to engineering excellence, employee development, customer engagement etc.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor or Masters degree in engineering (preferably in Aeronautical / Aerospace or equivalent discipline) with 12+ years of experience in aviation domain.
- Experience working with airplane systems/structural design and/or troubleshooting.
- Ability to work variable and/or rotating schedule.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience ) :
- Previous experience leading or managing teams in an engineering organization is desired.
- Experience of providing customer support services to airlines.
- Familiarity with FAA transport airplane structural/systems regulations.
