Job Description

Role Overview:

We are looking for a senior-level System Operations Lead to manage and drive infrastructure managed services across multiple clients. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in Windows/Linux system administration along with hands-on leadership in day-to-day IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and guide the system operations team in delivering L2 to L3 support across Windows, Linux, VMware, and related platforms.
Identify process gaps and implement continuous improvements for service delivery.
Actively participate in incident, change, and problem management processes.
Ensure system patching, backup validation, security compliance, and monitoring tasks are regularly completed.
Act as an escalation point for critical incidents and ensure timely resolution.
Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to manage ongoing operations and service improvements.
Track daily operations and review/support team on tickets.

Required Skills and experience:

Strong technical expertise in:
- Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policies
- Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu)
- Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Backup and Storage tools (Veeam, NetBackup, etc.)
Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash) for automation and efficiency.
Good understanding of ITIL-based operations and service delivery.
ITSM Technologies (JIRA, ServiceNow) awareness and usage.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
8-10 years of relevant experience.
