Job Description

Job Title:

Azure Administrator

Experience:

3 12 Years

Location:

Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad

We are seeking a skilled

Azure Administrator (Infrastructure Specialist Azure Platform)

to design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure on

Microsoft Azure

. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in

Azure infrastructure deployment, automation using Terraform

, and

monitoring configuration

for large-scale enterprise environments.

The role involves end-to-end responsibility for the

implementation, performance, and security

of Azure resources while ensuring high availability and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, deploy, and manage
Azure Infrastructure
(Compute, Storage, Networking, Identity).
Implement and automate
infrastructure provisioning
using
Terraform
(extensive hands-on).
Configure and manage
Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
for proactive monitoring and alerting.
Administer and maintain
Azure Virtual Machines, VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers, and Firewalls
.
Manage
Azure Active Directory
,
RBAC
, and
Access Policies
for identity and access control.
Implement and monitor
backup, disaster recovery
, and
scaling strategies
.
Collaborate with DevOps and Security teams to ensure
compliance, governance, and automation
.
Perform
cost optimization
through rightsizing, reservations, and monitoring resource utilization.
Troubleshoot Azure-related issues and drive root cause analysis for performance or configuration problems.
Document architecture, configurations, and operational processes.

Technical Skills:

Core Azure Services:

Azure Compute: VMs, Scale Sets, Availability Sets/Zones
Azure Networking: VNet, VPN, ExpressRoute, Load Balancer, Application Gateway
Azure Storage: Blob, File, Disk Management
Azure Security: NSGs, Defender for Cloud, Key Vault
Azure Identity: Azure AD, RBAC, Managed Identities
Monitoring Logging: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Alerts, Metrics

Automation IaC:

Terraform
extensive hands-on for IaC (modules, variables, state management, pipelines)
PowerShell
and/or
Bash scripting
for automation

Additional Tools (Preferred):

Azure DevOps (for CI/CD and pipeline automation)
Monitoring tools Grafana, Prometheus, or third-party integrations
Familiarity with
Ansible / ARM templates

Qualification:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
preferred.
Terraform or Cloud Infrastructure certification is a plus.

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Good communication and documentation abilities.
Ability to work in collaborative, fast-paced environments.
Proactive and detail-oriented approach to system reliability and optimization.
