Job Title:

Windows System Administration

Experience:

3 10 Years

Location:

Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad

We are seeking a skilled

Windows Administrator / Infrastructure Specialist

to manage and maintain our enterprise IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in

Windows Server Administration

automation scripting

, and

infrastructure monitoring

to ensure system reliability, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer, configure, and maintain
Windows Server environments
(2012/2016/2019/2022).
Manage
Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and WSUS
.
Perform
user account management, access control, and permissions setup
.
Troubleshoot and resolve
server, storage, and network-related issues
.
Implement and monitor
system performance, backups, and patch management
.
Develop and maintain
automation scripts
using
PowerShell, Bash, or Python
.
Manage
virtualization platforms
(VMware / Hyper-V).
Ensure
system security compliance
and coordinate with security teams for audits.
Support
incident, change, and problem management
processes as per ITIL standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure projects and deployments.

Required Skills:

Strong experience in
Windows Server Administration
(installation, configuration, troubleshooting).
Hands-on with
PowerShell scripting
and at least one other scripting language (
Bash or Python
).
Experience with
Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
.
Working knowledge of
virtualization (VMware / Hyper-V)
and
backup tools
.
Understanding of
networking fundamentals
(TCP/IP, routing, firewalls).
Familiarity with
monitoring tools
(e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds, SCOM).
Basic understanding of
cloud environments
(Azure or AWS) is an added advantage.

Good to Have:

Exposure to
Linux Administration
or
cross-platform scripting
.
Experience in
infrastructure automation tools
(e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
ITIL Certification or equivalent process knowledge.
