Highly skilled batch monitoring operator to monitor batch cycles in 24x7x365 on a rotation basis shift. Able to handle the system abends within the agreed SLAs to ensure the batches are completed within the scheduled batch windows. Also support BAU support services within the ITSM change control procedures.

Expertise in

• Observe schedules
• Report exceptions
• Fix abends and escalate as per procedures.
• Job restarts, cancel jobs, hold and release schedules
• Copy files, Merge files and remove concatenations
• Resolve server connectivity errors, work with server teams
• Support IPL and DR testing exercise
• Maintain procedures on production Batch.
• Manage Customer Production Turnover Process
• Monitor, resolve and report exceptions in turnover process.
• Advise on resolution of exceptions in process as requested.
• Identify and review new standards and changes.
• Update standards documentation with new standards.
• Review and approve new standards.
• Implement, adhere to, and enforce standards.
• Review and approve new standards.
