SVP Consultant Human Resources

As a highly experienced SVP, People Consultant at HSBC, your role will be vital in driving organizational effectiveness by diagnosing, analyzing, consulting, managing change, and delivering innovative solutions. You will play a key role in aligning people initiatives with business objectives, ultimately contributing to the success of strategic people plans. Key Responsibilities: - Successfully navigate the organizational matrix to drive organizational effectiveness - Design pragmatic solutions to solve business problems and deliver measurable impact - Collaborate closely with People Business Partners and business leaders to align people initiatives with business objectives - Leverage internal and external expertise to frame complex challenges and deliver impactful solutions - Drive effective project plans to support the delivery of business outcomes outlined in strategic people plans - Advocate and champion the People delivery model, demonstrating strong leadership and role-model behaviors - Collaborate across People Centers of Excellence to design tailored solutions that support the overall people strategy - Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to offer innovative solutions and bring an outside-in perspective Qualifications Required: - Relevant degree in Human Resources from a reputed business school with 8-10 years of experience - Experience in HR environment in a business partnering/consultant capacity with expertise in at least 1 specialization - Experience in HR transformation/change programs, organizational design, or HR project management roles preferred - Strong understanding of employee demographics and risks/challenges to design relevant solutions - Prior experience in people insights using digital platforms/tools desirable - Ability to manage senior stakeholders and serve as an internal consultant - Flexibility, tenacity, and resilience to handle business demands during high workload periods - Knowledge of wholesale environments, service pressures, and changing customer needs - Proficiency in large-scale change programs, influencing ability, and matrix working At HSBC, you will have the opportunity to grow within an inclusive and diverse environment that values continuous professional development and flexible working.
