Sustainable Water Infrastructure Lead

About the Role

Ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring environmental compliance, regulatory adherence, and sustainability integration across a range of infrastructure projects. This position involves leading environmental assessments, designing and overseeing wastewater treatment systems, and guiding teams to implement waste management and mitigation measures that align with national and international standards.

Will be responsible for delivering practical, sustainable, and technically sound environmental solutions to support the firm’s diverse portfolio of projects, ensuring that each initiative meets both regulatory and ecological objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct and review Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), environmental audits, and mitigation planning for ongoing and proposed projects.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with environmental laws, standards, and project-specific conditions.
• Design, evaluate, and monitor wastewater treatment and solid waste management systems.
• Develop and implement waste management strategies that enhance project sustainability and operational efficiency.
• Provide technical expertise and advisory support on environmental aspects during project planning and execution.
• Liaise with government bodies, clients, and stakeholders to ensure smooth environmental clearance processes.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations related to environmental compliance and monitoring.

Qualifications & Skills

• Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or an allied field.
• Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in environmental engineering and consulting.
• Proven expertise in environmental compliance, EIA preparation, and regulatory coordination.
• Strong background in wastewater treatment technologies and waste management systems.
• Demonstrated experience in infrastructure or government-funded projects.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to technical detail.
• Strong communication and reporting abilities.
