Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a sustainability strategy for the company’s construction projects, with a focus on reducing environmental impact.

• Lead the integration of sustainable building practices, materials, and technologies in all current and future projects.

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, project managers, and suppliers to ensure sustainability goals are met.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, regulations, and certifications in sustainable construction.

• Identify and evaluate sustainable materials and technologies that align with the luxury real estate market.

• Drive initiatives to reduce the carbon footprint of construction projects, including waste management, energy efficiency, and water conservation.

• Monitor and report on the company’s sustainability performance, setting benchmarks and KPIs.

• Engage with external partners, such as environmental consultants, government bodies, and industry associations, to enhance sustainability efforts.

• Provide training and guidance to internal teams on sustainable practices.

• Advocate for sustainability within the company and promote a culture of environmental responsibility.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Sustainable/ Environmental Architecture, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in sustainable construction, green building, or environmental management, preferably within the luxury real estate sector.

• Strong knowledge of sustainable building certifications (e.g., IGBC, GRIHA, LEED, BREEAM) and environmental regulations.

• Proven track record of implementing successful sustainability initiatives in construction projects.

• Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

• Passion for sustainability and a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in sustainable construction.

• Ability to think creatively and innovatively to solve complex sustainability challenges.
