you ll be our: Sustainability Lead you ll be based at: IBC Knowledge Park, Bengaluru you ll be Aligned with: EHSS Head you ll be a member of: Operations What you ll do at Ather: Drive and deploy central sustainability actions/programs for the sites. Guide facilities for impactful actions by identifying appropriate training programs to enhance sustainability performance and build further capacity. Understand the road map and follow up on its progress at the facility level. By tracking advancements and addressing any challenges, you will ensure that our sustainability initiatives remain on course and effective. Develop and manage key sustainability performances metrics. Manage and report sustainability in the day-to-day business operations and value chain. Work closely with different business entities functions in the organization to develop sustainability strategies, implement it and monitor. Create smart quarterly and yearly sustainability targets of the organization and monitor them for reporting to the board. Develop digital dashboards with monthly/quarterly/yearly sustainability reports for management review. Connect with investors to understand the ESMS requirements and report on a regular basis. Lead the execution of Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) for products, materials, and processes to assess environmental impacts and inform decision-making. Create and implement strategies to reduce Scope 1, 2 and 3 GHG emissions across the supply chain, Engineering and plant by focusing on high-impact areas Work closely with suppliers to promote sustainability practices and reduce upstream and downstream emissions Constantly track the company s impact and operations against the Sustainability Development Goals. Reporting as per BRSR compliance and in reference with the GRI framework. Close analysis of environmental legal requirements , policies and compliances and to align with the day-to-day operations. Constant support to business teams to attain the sustainability targets. Sustainability Reporting: Track, review and report on sustainability indices as per SOP. Coordinate reporting of data for various ESG rating agencies, Impact Reporting, GRI reporting, BRSR reporting, etc. Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate with factories, departments, and external stakeholders on the companys sustainability agenda, progress, and initiatives and implementing the ESMS. Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to sustainability performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement. Coordinate with stakeholders for corrective action and solutions to mitigate or improve performance. Regulatory Requirements : Track regulatory developments in the areas of Sustainability and prepare suitable plans to ensure compliance. ( Pollution Control Board Compliance, EPR Compliance, Environmental Compliance, etc.,) Support Sustainability Initiatives: Assist in the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives, projects, and programs across the organization. Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with the sustainability team, factories, and departments to ensure alignment and progress towards sustainability goals. Develop and maintain MIS related to ESG Initiatives undertaken and present the same to management on timely basis Conduct regular audits to verify compliance with ESMS at sites. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by actively seeking opportunities to advance the companys sustainability agenda Here s what we are looking for: Expertise in ESG Reporting Framework - GRI, BRSR , SASB, CDP etc., Excellent in ESG / Sustainability Strategy and Implementation of ESMS. Good Knowledge in ISO 14001, ISO 50001, ISO 26000 and IFC standards Excellent Knowledge and experience in EPR Compliance and Environment Regulations. Working with various GHG, CO2 emissions and energy savings projects. Provided extensive hands-on experience in the environment and sustainability. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and Decision Making skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient in technology and equipment used in environmental and Safety inspections Flexible for relocation to any other Ather operations to implement the EHSS system You bring to Ather: Bachelor s Or Masters in Environmental Engineering / MBA in Sustainability 10 to 12 years of industry experience in Environment and Sustrainability, ESG Reporting and industrial safety Certification in Industry Safety and Health would be an added advantage ,\
