Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Sustainability & Emission Control Consultant, specifically targeting industrial operations such as textile manufacturing in South India. We are seeking a Sustainability & Emission Control Consultant who can engage with industries on-site, assess sustainability practices, monitor emission levels, and implement corrective measures using leading global platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

· Visit industrial sites (mainly textile units) to assess sustainability, energy use, emissions, and compliance.

· Collect, analyze, and validate environmental performance data from factories.

· Implement, track, and improve sustainability strategies with a focus on emission reduction and resource optimization.

· Use platforms like Worldly, CDP, Beetive, Tox Clear, and Climate Risk Management to assess, monitor, and report performance metrics.

· Collaborate with client teams to improve awareness and compliance with local and global sustainability regulations.

· Provide technical guidance on carbon footprint reduction, water usage, chemical management, and energy conservation.

· Develop technical documentation, audit reports, and sustainability improvement roadmaps.

· Prepare and submit sustainability reports aligned with frameworks like GHG Protocol, GRI, or SBTi where applicable.

· Work closely with internal software/technical teams to integrate data-driven sustainability tools.

Key Requirements:

· B.Tech/B.E. in Environmental Engineering / Textile or any related technical discipline.

· Master’s in Sustainability or Environmental Management is a plus.

· 1-2 years of hands-on experience in sustainability assessments, emissions control, and environmental compliance in the industrial sector.

· Familiar with environmental laws, certifications, and frameworks (e.g., ZDHC, ISO 14001, GHG, REACH).

· Strong analytical and reporting skills; ability to interpret environmental and energy data.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with factory management and local teams.

· Willing to travel across Tamil Nadu and other parts of South India for site assessments.

· Must be fluent in Tamil and English (spoken and written).

Preferred Attributes:

· Background in industrial audits or sustainability consulting for textile

· Knowledge of LCA (Life Cycle Assessment), EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment), and CSR frameworks.

· Tech-savvy with experience in dashboards, sensors, data tools, and automation in sustainability.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
