Role Summary

We are seeking a dedicated professional to oversee and ensure that all regenerative farming and sustainability-related projects comply with international standards, and best practices. The role involves monitoring, reporting, and advising on compliance with environmental, agricultural, and sustainability frameworks, while also guiding continuous improvement in line with global sustainability goals.


Key Responsibilities


1. Compliance & Standards

  • Align operations with international sustainability frameworks, such as FAO regenerative agriculture guidelines, UN SDGs, ISO 14001, organic or other certification standards including but not limited to B Corp, CERES etc.
  • Carbon Credit Audit experience could be relevant as well
  • Stay updated on evolving sustainability policies, certifications, and reporting requirements.
  • Familiarity with Environmental & Social aspects of the relevant projects


2. Project Monitoring & Evaluation

  • Develop and implement / institute monitoring systems to track compliance and sustainability performance.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of farming and sustainability practices.
  • Prepare compliance reports for internal stakeholders, regulators, and certifying bodies.


3. Capacity Building

  • Train farm/project teams on compliance requirements and sustainable practices.
  • Provide technical advice on regenerative agriculture, soil health, water management, biodiversity, and carbon reduction.


4. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Liaise with government agencies, certifying bodies, NGOs, and community stakeholders.
  • Ensure transparency in sustainability reporting and communicate progress effectively.


5. Continuous Improvement

  • Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities to strengthen compliance and sustainability outcomes.
  • Recommend innovations and best practices in regenerative agriculture and environmental stewardship.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years

    of experience in sustainability, environmental compliance, or regenerative agriculture projects.
  • Strong knowledge of regenerative farming practices, sustainability standards, and global compliance frameworks including B Corp, CERES, GRI, SASB, ISO 14001, UN SDGs, ESG reporting frameworks.
  • Experience with auditing, certification processes, and reporting (e.g., organic, carbon credits, life cycle assessment (LCA), and GHG emission measurement & environmental impact assessments (EIA/ESIA)).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret regulations and translate them into practical action.
