Job Title

Support Sinter Mechanical WMLThe Assistant Engineer for Support Sinter Mechanical WML will play a crucial role in the Mechanical Maintenance department, ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of equipment and machinery. This position requires a professional with 4 to 10 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, focusing on safety, decision-making, and troubleshooting. The role involves attending to and resolving maintenance problems, performing breakdown maintenance, and executing preventive maintenance as per defined schedules. The Assistant Engineer will also be responsible for change management and effective time management to ensure minimal downtime. Ensure the availability of all the equipment/machineries by enforcing preventive and on-going maintenance, scheduling repairs; coordinating shut-downs and installations.

Principal Accountabilities

Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performancebr Develop and implement maintenance schedules to prevent equipment failures and downtimebr Ensure preventive predictive and planned maintenance of machines for the year taken place as per the schedule and carrying out break down analysisbr Identification and planning for upgradation of the equipment to improve machine availability capabilitybr Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely repairs and maintenance activitiesbr Monitor and review maintenance activities to ensure compliance with safety and operational standardsbr Liaise with vendors and suppliers for parts and equipment procurement
