Job Title

Implementation and Maintenance Engineer – Band B2

Job Location

Pune

Shift Timings

9 AM to 6 PM (Day Shift)

Experience Required

3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in:

  • Unix / Linux system implementation and maintenance
  • CI/CD processes
  • L2 support

mid-level experience

Compensation

CBR: 130K (likely per annum or quarter, depending on the org)

Must-Have Skills

  1. Operating Systems:

  • Linux / Unix administration and troubleshooting
  • Unix Shell Scripting

  1. DevOps / CI-CD Tools:

  • Git, Git Bash, Bitbucket
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines
  • Basic Jenkins (Good to have)

  1. IT Service Management:

  • ITIL Framework
  • ITSM – especially Change Management
  • L2 Support experience is mandatory

  1. Databases:

  • Working knowledge of

    SQL

    for querying and basic DB troubleshooting

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Automation experience

    (scripting, workflow tools, etc.)

  • Jenkins

    (CI/CD tool for automation of deployment)

Responsibilities

Support & Maintenance

  • Resolve incoming technical issues (email / phone) based on defined SLAs.
  • Log all interactions, update tickets in systems like RAVE.
  • Work within ITIL-based incident and change management processes.

Client Communication & Documentation

  • Provide courteous and knowledgeable support to clients.
  • Record accurate data regarding each interaction.
  • Share relevant knowledge articles with clients; keep documentation up to date.

Service Improvement

  • Analyze logs to identify and reduce recurring issues.
  • Escalate serious or repeated issues to team leads.
  • Maintain self-help and knowledge base documents.

Operational Excellence

  • Participate in ongoing training (product & technical).
  • Track personal performance: productivity, absenteeism, and training completions.
