Supply Chain Management (SCM) Internship in Mumbai (Hybrid)

Role Overview

Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include

• Vendor Qualification (ADNOC & GCC Markets):
• Access and review the official ADNOC Approved Vendor List.
• Shortlist vendors relevant to John Galt’s scope: process equipment, pressure vessels, tanks, exchangers, valves, fittings, and raw materials.
• Collect vendor details: company profile, country, contact person, email, phone, approved product category, and registration validity.
• Cross-check vendor status (active/inactive) and approval reference numbers.
• Prepare vendor qualification dossiers (Excel + PDF folders).
• Supplier Database Creation:
• Create a structured Supplier Master Database in Excel or Google Sheets with filters by: Product Category, Country, ADNOC/ARAMCO/KNPC Approval, Contact Details, and Last Verified Date.
• Include fields for “Past Interaction,” “Potential for Collaboration,” and “Priority Rating.”
• Standardize file naming and categorization for easy reference.
• Data Validation & Follow-Up:
• Contact vendors (via email/LinkedIn/phone) to confirm details and obtain catalogues, certifications (ISO, ASME, IBR, PED, etc.).
• Validate the authenticity of approvals through public databases or vendor portals.
• Maintain a tracker of correspondence and responses.
• Reporting & Coordination:
• Prepare weekly reports on vendors screened and added.
• Present findings to the JGI management team for approval.
• Recommend vendors for specific ongoing export RFQs or tenders.
