Supply Chain Consultant

You are an experienced S&OP Expert with a background in Supply Chain Management (SCM), responsible for developing and implementing Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes for manufacturing companies, particularly in the chemicals domain. With over 10 years of proven experience in SCM, you will handle aspects such as demand planning, supply planning, and business process documentation. Your main responsibilities will include designing, structuring, and optimizing end-to-end S&OP processes for manufacturing operations. You will create detailed Business Requirement Documentation (BRD) for demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimization, and capacity planning. As a subject matter expert (SME), you will independently lead client discussions, workshops, and stakeholder meetings. Your role will involve analyzing demand-supply trends, forecast accuracy, and supply chain performance to enhance planning strategies. Collaboration with sales, operations, finance, and procurement teams is essential to ensure alignment across business functions. You will also be responsible for presenting solutions, insights, and process improvements to senior stakeholders and clients in a structured manner. Collaborating with IT teams to align planning processes with ERP, APS, and S&OP tools like SAP IBP, Kinaxis, OMP, or Anaplan is crucial. To excel in this role, you should possess at least 10 years of experience in SCM, S&OP, demand & supply planning within a manufacturing setup, preferably in the chemicals industry. Strong expertise in Business Process Documentation (BRD) for S&OP is required. Hands-on experience in forecasting, supply chain analytics, and planning systems is essential. Excellent client-facing, presentation, and stakeholder management skills are necessary. You should have the ability to lead discussions independently and provide advisory services to clients. Familiarity with ERP & S&OP tools like SAP IBP, Kinaxis, OMP, or Anaplan is advantageous. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills will be beneficial in this role.,
