The ideal candidate will bring strong editorial judgment, a sharp eye for detail, and hands-on experience in covering business and market news. You will manage a team of writers and sub-editors, ensuring all content meets the highest editorial standards and resonates with our Hindi-speaking audience. The role also requires close coordination with the research, design, SEO, and social media teams to ensure timely delivery and digital optimization of content. Key Responsibilities Write for the Hindi Business News desk, overseeing content creation on topics including the stock market, economy, finance, corporate developments, and personal finance. Edit, rewrite, and proofread articles to ensure clarity, accuracy, grammatical correctness, and consistency in tone. Ensure all content adheres to editorial policies, compliance standards, and brand voice. Monitor breaking news and key developments in the financial markets to drive timely and relevant coverage. Collaborate with research analysts, journalists, and digital teams to produce insightful and reader-friendly content. Guide and mentor the editorial team to maintain content quality, productivity, and awareness of current trends. Work closely with SEO and analytics teams to optimize headlines, metadata, and article structure for reach and performance. Maintain a strong understanding of investor behavior, stock market functioning, and key economic indicators. Qualifications Experience in business journalism or financial media, especially in Hindi-language publications or platforms. Strong command over Hindi and English, with excellent writing and editing skills. Proven knowledge of stock markets, financial instruments, economy, and corporate news . Hands-on experience in proofreading, fact-checking, and news curation under tight deadlines. Familiarity with digital publishing tools , CMS platforms, and new media formats (infographics, short videos, etc.). Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Economics, or Finance. Experience working in fast-paced digital newsrooms is a strong advantage. Show more Show less
