Student Counsellor

Job Responsibilities

As a Student Admission Counsellor, you will play a key role in mentoring students and helping them choose the right pathway for overseas education. Your responsibilities will include:

• Guiding students through the complete admission process, from enquiry to enrolment, including course and university selection.
• Providing accurate information about study programs, eligibility criteria, tuition fees, scholarships, and career prospects.
• Assisting students with documentation, application submissions, and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Advising students on visa application procedures, financial requirements, and interview preparation.
• Handling student queries via phone, email, and in-person counselling sessions.
• Participating in fairs, university events, and promotional activities organized by ESC.
• Maintaining detailed records of student applications and follow-ups in CRM systems.

Key Requirements

• Bachelors degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in student counselling, admissions, or related roles within the education industry.
• Strong knowledge of European universities and study abroad requirements (experience with UK/Canada/Australia admissions is an added advantage).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong student and parent rapport.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team, with a target-driven mindset.
• Passion for education, career development, and mentoring students.
