Structural Engineer(Drain)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Engineer with a focus on drainage infrastructure design and construction. The candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and ensuring the structural integrity of drainage systems such as culverts, stormwater drains, box drains, and related structures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and analyze structural elements of drainage systems (open and closed drains, box culverts, retaining walls, etc.)
• Prepare detailed structural drawings and technical documentation.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure proper implementation of drainage works.
• Coordinate with civil, hydraulic, and geotechnical engineers for integrated project development.
• Perform structural calculations using appropriate software (e.g., STAAD Pro, AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
• Ensure drainage structures comply with local codes, safety regulations, and sustainability guidelines.
• Assist in preparation of BOQ, specifications, and tender documents.
• Investigate and resolve any structural issues during construction.
• Provide technical support to construction teams during execution.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum [X] years of experience in structural design of drainage or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of Indian standards (IS codes), IRC, and MoRTH guidelines.
• Proficient in design and drafting tools like AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, ETABS, Revit, etc.
• Good understanding of hydrology and drainage concepts.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in urban drainage or highway drainage projects.
• Familiarity with site conditions and practical construction methods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
