Job Description – CFS Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cold-Formed Steel Engineer to join our team. As a Cold-Formed Steel Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, analysis, and implementation of structural systems made from cold-formed steel. You will work closely with engineers and other professionals to ensure the successful execution of projects.

Responsibilities:

· Design and analyse cold-formed steel structures, in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.

· Perform structural analysis using engineering software and tools to assess the integrity and stability of cold-formed steel components under various load conditions.

· Select appropriate cold-formed steel sections and materials based on project specifications, performance requirements, and cost considerations.

· Ensure compliance with building CSI codes, regulations, and standards related to cold-formed steel design and construction.

· Collaborate with project team and clients to develop comprehensive structural designs that meet project objectives.

· Prepare detailed engineering shop drawings, specifications, and reports to document the design and analysis of cold-formed steel structures.

· Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams during the implementation of cold-formed steel components.

· Stay updated with industry advancements, research, and best practices in cold-formed steel design and construction.

· Maintain effective communication and collaboration with project team members to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications:

· ME or MTech in Structural Engineering, or a related field.

· Proven experience working as a Cold-Formed Steel Engineer, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.

· In-depth knowledge of structural engineering principles, cold-formed steel design, and analysis techniques.

· Familiarity with relevant building codes and standards, including the International Building Code (IBC) and American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) standards.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

· Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy and precision in design and calculations.

· Project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage resources effectively.

· Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of cold-formed steel engineering.
