A Snapshot of Your Day

The India Operations Strategy Manager will play a critical role in developing and driving the India operations strategy in alignment with the company's compression vision. This role involves the creation of business plans, driving strategic actions, and ensuring the alignment of initiatives across various locations. The successful candidate will support the development and delivery of executive presentations, drive localization efforts, and focus on cost-out initiatives.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Develop and Drive India Operations Strategy: Formulate and implement a cohesive operations strategy that aligns with the company's overarching compression vision.
  • Support in Developing Business Plans: Collaborate with various functions to create tailored business plans that cater to the unique needs and opportunities of each location.
  • Identify and execute strategic initiatives that drive operational efficiency and effectiveness across functions and locations
  • Leverage synergies between functions and locations to implement One India initiative
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of high-quality executive presentations that communicate the operations strategy and progress to senior leadership.
  • Drive Localization Efforts: Lead efforts to localize operations, ensuring that regional requirements are addressed to optimize performance.
  • Focus on Cost-Out Topics: Develop and implement cost-out strategies to reduce operational costs while maintaining or improving quality and efficiency.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives like Lean methodologies to enhance operational efficiency
  • Represent Compression Business: Act in cross-business unit collaborations and various strategic initiatives, ensuring that the interests and objectives of the business unit are well-represented and integrated into broader business strategies.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations strategy, business planning, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful operations strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience in creating executive presentations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across different regions and functions.
  • Experience with cost-out initiatives and localization efforts is highly desirable.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop long-term strategies that align with the company's vision and goals.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Project Management: Excellent project management skills to drive strategic actions and initiatives.
  • Communication: Superior communication skills to effectively present strategies and progress to senior leadership.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and regional offices.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address operational challenges and implement cost-effective solutions.
