Position Overview

We are seeking a Strategy Associate to join MSU’s central team and support the design and execution of strategic projects across the organisation. This role is ideal for a generalist with 2–3 years of experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

As a Strategy Associate, you will work directly with senior leadership on projects spanning academics, operations, marketing, partnerships, and student experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Support leadership in conceptualising, planning, and executing cross-functional strategic initiatives.
• Conduct research, data analysis, and benchmarking to inform decision-making.
• Collaborate with teams across academics, admissions, placements, and marketing to drive execution.
• Track project progress, prepare reports, and identify gaps or opportunities.
• Assist in designing frameworks, dashboards, and systems for efficient operations.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders, partners, and collaborators for select projects.
• Bring in student and faculty perspectives to ensure initiatives are relevant and impactful.
• Act as a flexible problem-solver, taking ownership of diverse tasks as required.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Social Sciences, or related fields.
• 1–3 years of work experience in consulting, strategy, project management, or generalist roles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualisation tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to varied projects.
