Job Description

As a Strategic Account Manager at LRQA, your role is crucial in developing and winning new business opportunities with existing and target strategic accounts. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong strategic relationships with key individuals in client accounts. Your main focus will be on leading the strategic sales priorities and implementation for accounts, maximizing revenue delivery and growth. Additionally, you will introduce new products and services to the LRQA portfolio and support strategic bids to drive sales and pipeline opportunities. Key Responsibilities: - Manage a selection of strategic accounts and win business from a target group of logos, with a focus on retention, revenue growth, and new logo wins. - Develop and deliver strategic account plans to maximize revenue opportunities in line with group objectives. - Manage client pipelines to meet targets, engaging with colleagues to maximize opportunities and ensure accuracy. - Prepare and deliver viable account plans that drive strategic growth initiatives for each account. - Manage contract renewals and RFPs to minimize business loss and secure contracts. - Identify and solve client problems through customized solutions and strong market knowledge. - Maintain strategic market knowledge to contribute to discussions around LRQA business plans and growth objectives. - Produce sales and pipeline reports, performance summaries, and project updates for meetings and leadership team discussions. Qualifications Required: - Demonstrable experience in achieving annual sales targets in a B2B environment with 14-22 years of experience. - Proven track record of working with large strategic organizations and selling ISO standards. - Experience in developing contract values with large accounts through double-digit growth. - Fluency in English and at least one other widely-used business language. - Proficiency in preparing and delivering proposal presentations to senior-level audiences. - Knowledge of managing quotations, bids, and proposals, including pricing strategies. - Ability to work collaboratively across teams to achieve growth strategies and targets. - Familiarity with standard IT programs, Salesforce, Microsoft D365, and proprietary business software.
