Store Officer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: · Assist in maintaining accurate stock levels of Lab Chemicals, Housekeeping Store , raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods. · Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies. · Monitor stock expiry dates and manage FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices. · Oversee the receipt of incoming materials, ensuring correct quantities and quality as per purchase orders. · Prepare and verify dispatch documents for outgoing shipments. · Coordinate with suppliers and transporters for timely delivery and receipt of goods. · Ensure proper storage conditions for different types of materials. · Organize the store layout to facilitate easy access and efficient inventory management. · Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the store area. · Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, and adjustments. · Prepare and file reports related to stock levels, discrepancies, and inventory movements. · Adhere to company policies and procedures for inventory management and storage. · Ensure compliance with safety regulations and handle materials according to safety guidelines. · Coordinate with procurement, production, and quality control departments for smooth operations. · Communicate any issues or discrepancies to the Store Manager promptly. · Assist in training new staff on store procedures and best practices.
