Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly responsible and customer-focused Store Manager to lead daily operations at our gold and jewelry retail outlet. The ideal candidate will manage the sales team, ensure excellent customer service, oversee inventory, and ensure smooth store operations in alignment with brand standards and compliance norms.

Key Responsibilities:Sales & Customer Experience:

  • Drive store sales targets by motivating and managing the sales team.
  • Provide personalized service to high-value customers and assist in closing key sales.
  • Handle customer queries, complaints, and after-sales issues effectively.
  • Ensure that all staff deliver excellent customer service and maintain brand image.

Store Operations:

  • Supervise day-to-day operations of the store including opening, closing, and shift schedules.
  • Monitor security protocols related to gold and high-value inventory.
  • Ensure cleanliness, display maintenance, and adherence to store presentation standards.

Inventory Management:

  • Oversee daily stock audits, inventory reconciliation, and gold purity checks.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, returns, and damaged goods.
  • Coordinate with head office or suppliers for stock replenishment and special orders.

Team Leadership:

  • Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance.
  • Schedule staff shifts and manage attendance and leave.
  • Organize product training, grooming, and customer etiquette sessions for team members.

Compliance & Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements (KYC, billing, tax, hallmarking, etc.).
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales and operations reports.
  • Ensure adherence to security procedures like CCTV operation, cash handling, and anti-theft measures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in retail, preferably in gold or jewellry sector.
  • Proven team management and leadership skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer-handling skills, especially with HNI clients.
  • Good knowledge of gold purity, jewellry categories, pricing, and hallmarking.
  • Proficient in MS Office, billing software, and basic accounting.

Preferred:

  • Background in luxury retail or branded jewellry stores.
  • Fluency in local language(s) along with English.
  • Understanding of seasonal trends and festival-based demand in the jewellry market.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
