Store Manager – Retail Grocery

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Store Manager with a strong background in retail groceries to lead daily store operations, drive sales, and build high-performance teams at AapKaBazar.

Key Responsibilities:

• Store Operations Management
• Oversee all daily store activities to ensure smooth functioning and operational discipline.
• Monitor stock levels, expiry dates, product placements, and cleanliness standards.
• Coordinate with purchasing and inventory teams for timely reordering.
• Team Leadership & Building
• Lead, train, and motivate store staff to achieve performance targets.
• Create a positive work environment fostering teamwork and accountability.
• Implement staff rosters and ensure adherence to company policies.
• Sales & Customer Service
• Drive sales through effective merchandising, in-store promotions, and upselling.
• Handle escalated customer queries and ensure high service standards.
• Reporting & Coordination
• Maintain daily sales reports, stock reports, and team performance updates.
• Coordinate with management for operational updates and initiatives.
• Process Improvement
• Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer experience.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 years experience in retail grocery management.
• Proven ability to build, train, and lead effective store teams.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership qualities.
• Knowledge of inventory management and retail operations.

Reporting To:

Area Manager / Business Owner

Salary:

Competitive, based on experience and performance.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹9,274.88 - ₹39,115.93 per month

Schedule:

• Day shift

Supplemental Pay:

• Overtime pay
