Store Keeper

We are looking for an experienced Workshop Store Keeper to manage and control the inventory of automotive parts, tools, consumables, and workshop supplies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automotive workshop operations, spare parts management, and tool control, ensuring smooth support to technicians and service advisors to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, label, and store all incoming spare parts, tools, and consumables.
• Issue parts to technicians against job cards while ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
• Maintain optimal stock levels of fast-moving and critical workshop items to avoid delays in repairs.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date inventory records using manual logs or dealership management systems (DMS).
• Track and manage tools inventory, including issuance, return, and maintenance of tool registers.
• Coordinate with the procurement/purchase department for stock replenishment and special-order parts.
• Organize stock in the store area for easy access, identification, and traceability.
• Ensure proper storage of oils, lubricants, batteries, and hazardous materials as per safety regulations.
• Conduct regular cycle counts, stock audits, and monthly inventory reconciliations.
• Maintain records of warranty returns, old core parts, and scrap disposal.
• Assist in identifying slow-moving and obsolete stock and recommend actions.
• Ensure workshop cleanliness and proper layout of parts bins and tool racks.

Requirements:

• Minimum [2–5] years of experience as a Store Keeper in an automotive workshop/service center.
• In-depth knowledge of automobile parts, tools, and service processes.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Basic knowledge of automotive repair processes.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting, moving, and organizing stock.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic computer usage.
• High school diploma or technical diploma in Automotive, Logistics, or a related field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
