We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to support our FMCG distribution operations. The role involves picking, packing, and preparing orders for timely dispatch to retailers and wholesalers. The Picker/Packer will be responsible for ensuring accuracy in product selection, quantities, and batch/expiry details while maintaining high standards of safety and hygiene. Key duties include reading and following invoices or pick lists, locating products in the warehouse, verifying items, and packing them securely to avoid damage during transport. The role also requires proper labeling of packages with delivery or route details and assisting in loading goods onto delivery vehicles. The Picker/Packer must follow FIFO (First In, First Out) for stock rotation and promptly report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages to the supervisor. Participation in regular stock counts and warehouse upkeep is also expected. The ideal candidate should have at least a 12th pass education, with prior experience in warehouse or logistics preferred. Physical fitness, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
