Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate records of stock levels, ensuring optimal stock levels to avoid overstocking or shortages. Receipt and Storage: Receiving, inspecting, and verifying pharmaceutical shipments, ensuring proper storage and labeling, and maintaining a clean and organized storage area. Dispatch and Issue of Goods: Facilitating the dispatch of finished products and ensuring materials are issued efficiently. Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of all received and dispatched goods, as well as inventory movement. Compliance and Audits: Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations (e.g., GMP, GHP) and maintaining readiness for audits. Coordination: Coordinating with other departments (e.g., procurement, accounts) for smooth operations. Team Management: (If applicable) Training and supervising store staff, ensuring efficient workflow. Material Handling: Overseeing the receipt, inspection, storage, and issue of materials. FIFO/FEFO: Ensuring the implementation of FIFO (First In, First Out) or FEFO (First Expire, First Out) principles for inventory management. Additional Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills: Essential for managing inventory, coordinating with other departments, and communicating with staff. Attention to detail: Required for accurate record keeping and inventory management. Knowledge of relevant regulations: (e.g., GMP, GHP). Basic understanding of ERP systems: (if applicable). Good people management skills: (if supervising staff).
