🥖 Job Description: Store Incharge – Bakery Job Title:Store Incharge – Bakery Department:Retail Operations / Store Management Reports To: Operations Manager Role Summary:The Store Incharge is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the bakery outlet, ensuring excellent customer service, smooth sales transactions, product availability, and high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. The role also involves managing staff, inventory, and store profitability. Key Responsibilities: 🔸 Store Operations: Manage daily store operations and ensure smooth functioning of the bakery outlet. Ensure all bakery products are fresh, well-stocked, properly displayed, and attractively presented. Monitor equipment and ensure proper maintenance. 🔸 Team Management: Supervise, train, and motivate store staff including counter executives, bakers, helpers, and cleaners. Prepare staff schedules and assign duties to ensure efficient workflow. Conduct performance evaluations and recommend improvements or training. 🔸 Customer Service: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service. Resolve customer complaints and queries promptly and professionally. Encourage upselling and suggestive selling to increase sales. 🔸 Sales & Reporting: Monitor daily sales and work to achieve or exceed sales targets. Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly sales reports. Manage POS system and ensure accurate billing and cash handling. 🔸 Inventory & Stock Management: Track inventory levels and reorder supplies in a timely manner. Manage FIFO (First In, First Out) to reduce waste and spoilage. Coordinate with suppliers and manage deliveries. 🔸 Hygiene & Compliance: Ensure store cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene standards are strictly followed. Adhere to health regulations and local compliance requirements. Conduct regular audits for hygiene, inventory, and store performance. Required Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree or diploma in retail management, hospitality, or related field (preferred). 3–5 years of experience in a bakery or food retail environment, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Strong leadership and team management skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in POS systems, inventory software, and basic MS Office tools. Customer-first mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.
