Job Title: Store Incharge

Location: VADODARA
Department: Stores/Warehouse
Reports To: Operations Manager / Store Manager

Job Purpose:

To oversee the daily operations of the store/warehouse, manage inventory, ensure accurate stock levels, maintain store cleanliness and organization, and coordinate with internal teams for smooth flow of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management:
• Maintain and monitor inventory levels to avoid overstocking or stockouts.
• Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and physical verification.
• Record incoming and outgoing stock using appropriate documentation and software.
• Store Operations:
• Ensure smooth functioning of daily store activities.
• Maintain proper storage practices including FIFO/LIFO.
• Keep the store clean, organized, and safe at all times.
• Receiving and Dispatching:
• Verify and inspect incoming materials for quantity and quality.
• Coordinate dispatches and issue materials as per requirement with proper documentation.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of stock levels, receipts, and issues.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly inventory reports and submit them to management.
• Team Management:
• Supervise store assistants and labor staff.
• Allocate tasks and monitor performance.
• Coordination:
• Liaise with procurement, production, and accounts departments.
• Follow up on material shortages or delays.
• Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and internal policies.
• Assist in internal and external audits.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in supply chain, logistics, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in store management/inventory control.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP or inventory software (SAP, Tally, etc.).
• Good communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
